Safety Instructions
Thank you for choosing our bounce house rental service. We are committed to ensuring that your event is not only enjoyable but also safe for everyone involved. To help you maximize your bounce house experience, we have prepared the following safety instructions:
- Adult Supervision: It is essential to have responsible adult supervision at all times while the bounce house is in use. We recommend having someone present who understands the safety guidelines and can monitor the activity.
- Age and Weight Limit: To ensure the structural integrity and safety of the inflatable, only allow children within the specified age and weight limit to use the bounce house.
- Remove Shoes, Glasses, and Sharp Objects: Prior to entering the bounce house, all participants should remove their shoes, glasses, and any sharp objects that could potentially cause injury to themselves or others.
- No Food, Drinks, or Gum: For the prevention of choking hazards and damage to the bounce house, it is strictly prohibited to bring food, drinks, or gum inside the inflatable. Additionally, participants should empty their pockets of any loose items. Please note that using confetti, party poppers, silly string, or glitter inside the inflatable is also prohibited, as these can cause irreparable damage.
- Maximum Capacity: To avoid accidents and minimize the risk of injury, do not exceed the maximum capacity of the bounce house. Please follow the guidelines regarding the number of participants allowed in the inflatable simultaneously. Most inflatables only allow 4-5 guests at a time.
- Safe Entry and Exit: Participants should enter and exit the bounce house in an orderly manner, avoiding jumping or climbing over the walls. Encourage them to utilize the designated entrance and exit points provided. Running on the tarp is strictly prohibited to prevent slips and falls.
- No Flips or Rough Play: To minimize the risk of collisions and injuries, flips, somersaults, wrestling, and any form of rough play are strictly prohibited inside the bounce house.
- No Climbing on Walls or Netting: Children should not climb on the walls or netting of the bounce house as it can cause it to topple over or collapse.
- Weather Conditions: The bounce house should not be operated or used during inclement weather, including rain, strong winds (exceeding 15/20 mph), or thunderstorms. In the event of sudden weather changes, promptly evacuate the bounce house and seek shelter indoors.
- Secure Anchoring: Ensure that the bounce house is properly secured at all times using stakes or sandbags. Do not allow anyone to move or tamper with the anchoring system during use.
- Emergency Procedures: In case of any emergency or malfunction, exit the bounce house immediately and turn off the blower.
- Report Any Issues: If you notice any damage, malfunctions, or safety concerns with the bounce house, immediately inform FunTown Inflatables to address the issue promptly.
